The last game of the season for this year's Patriot JV team was a memorable one and one that came down to the last
play of the game. The entire game was well played by both teams with the lead changing multiple times. With less than
3 minutes on the clock to end the game and losing by two points, a defient Patriot defense stopped the Howell Rebels
on four downs and goal to go within the 10 yard line. The Patriots took posseseion of the ball on their 3 yard line.
After a 60 yard pass play and some great offense, the patriots moved the ball downfield to the Rebels five yard line.
With less than 10 seconds on the clock, the Patriots had moved the ball down to the 6 inch line. Opting to go for
the TD, and with a 4th down, the Patriots tried to blast the middle of the Rebel line. As time ran out, the Rebels
held and went on to mark up a two point, 20-18 victory.

Patriots JV Runs All Over Manalapan- 11/10/08
The Patriots JV team continues to show their dominence. This time the victimes
were crosstowm rivals, Manalapan. With explosive ground attack, the Patriots were able to score on their first two possesions.
On successive runs of 55 and 45 yards, Matt Intile put the Patriots on the board twice on first down rushes both times he
touched the ball.
The defense, as usual, was awesome allowing the Braves to struggle for any yards they
would get, holding them to just 3 first downs in the game.
The offense continued to put points on the board with runs by Raul Palo, receptions
by Mike Mullen and the passing of Joe DeFranco. Matt Intile also scored another TD on a 35 yard run around the
end. The offenseive and defensive lines along with exceptional blocking, is what made this victory look easy
for the Patriots.
Motivated by a great Freshman season and good JV season,
this team is already looking forward to next year at the Varsity level.

JV Team Completes Shutout Sweep Of Marlboro
The Freshman Patriots football team started the day on Friday with its 26-0 win over the Marlboro.
Then the Patriots varsity team, playing in a relentless rain, defeated the Marlboro Mustang varsity team 12-0
Friday evening. Compleing the cycle, the Patriot JV team demolished the Mustang JV team 34-0 in a Monday afternoon
game.
